• Finally some new news "Feb 2000"            Hey John    Here is a picture of the big one.     It was 32 1/2 inches, caught in 11 feet of water on ultralite gear with 6 lb. magnathin line near the circle H.                                           1 1/2 inch white glow gitzit tipped with wax worms.                                                                               caught on 2-20-00                   Hey John   "I forgot to say it took me 30 minutes to ice the trout, and when it finally got to the bottom of the hole he would not come up, it just laid flat under the ice with his head visible on the edge of the hole, Mark had to reach in up to his shoulder and grab it by the gill - what are friends for anyway!!!!!!!    later Jeff

• OK, not getting much input so I'll tell you what has happened since about May.

• We went to Creede and it was a fun vacation but the fishing was slow.  Scroll down for some scenic pictures from the Creede trip.

• We've been on the Western Slope a couple of times and had a great time but the fishing was slow.  Well Vega did have fast action for stockers!  We did have fun.  However, the rivers were still running high and we hope to get back over there soon.

CORRECTION!

 

OK, I was just informed today that the Mack Mark caught was weighed in on a brand new scale but it was inaccurate! Sorry! There was no intent to mislead anyone and we estimate it at between 16 and 18 lbs. which falls in line with the official tournament weight of Eddies fish. By the way, Eddie did indeed win 1ST Place and again congratulations Eddie! been pretty busy so that's it for now.

MOST RECENT NEWS

Mark and Jeff were kind enough to take us to their spot. Unfortunately we did not catch anything! Well Mark and Jeff landed two before we left at noon. We did have a good time anyway and the ride out and back was a great change of pace. We did stop at the weigh station on the way out and we probably saw the winning Mack! The stats to the best of my memory are:
